Reception is your introduction to Cardinal Animal Hospital, Ltd. While it is a pleasant room, with a variety of educational material and fish tanks to entertain you and your pets, our goal is to make your stay in this room short.
Also available in the reception area are several types of high quality foods and made in the USA treats and chewies, designed to provide the best (and safest) nutrition for your pet. "We are what we eat" and feeding your pet high-quality food can help prevent many medical problems throughout its life.

The examination room provides a bright, private area in which we can discuss your pet's history and problems then plan a course of treatment. Here you will have time to discuss your pet's needs/problems while the doctor and/or technicians perform an examination, draw samples for testing or administer medications as needed. You can be assured that, following the principle of 'first, do no harm', treatments are limited to those that are necessary and prudent as recommended for your pet's individual needs. At Cardinal we do not practice 'cookie cutter' medicine.

Next to our exam room is a completely equipped and computerized laboratory where bloodwork can provide quick answers to your pet's physical problems. While utilizing the in-house lab gives quicker results, it has been our experience that outside, professional laboratories generally provide more information, and therefore value, for your client dollar so, whenever possible, we send our patients' tests out, primarily to Antech Labs.
